2. Caffeine Another stimulant to watch is caffeine. “Just like alcohol, caffeine is a stimulant,” explains Dr. Klodas.
Caffeine comes in various teas, sodas, and chocolate, not just coffee and energy beverages.
3. Processed Heart palpitations are also affected by diet. Processing foods are a serious concern.
“Chips, candy, mass-produced baked goods, and microwavable snacks typically contain added sugars, unhealthy fats, and salt,” she says.
