The terrible death of Shirley Harvey's dog, Lady, left her upset, according to the 80-year-old from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.
The chihuahua was hit by a bike on March 30 in Burrows Playing Field as it was off leash and lying next to a walkway, according to Gloucestershire Police.
A witness to the collision who subsequently spoke with the dog's owner is wanted by the police.
